How it works

A backyard in the Valley is only as good as its shade. We install pergolas that are square, anchored, and built for Arizona sun and monsoon winds, whether that's assembling a kit you've purchased or building a custom structure sized to your patio.

How pricing works

Every pergola quote is written after we see your space (photos work great) and covers labor, hardware, and cleanup. The number we give you is the number you pay. Kit assemblies are typically quoted flat; custom builds get an itemized quote so you can see exactly where the money goes.

What's included

  • Kit assembly (Costco, Home Depot, and specialty kits)
  • Custom wood and aluminum pergola builds
  • Proper footing and anchoring for monsoon wind loads
  • Site prep, layout, and post setting
  • Full cleanup: your yard looks better than when we arrived

Common questions

Do you build custom pergolas or just assemble kits?+

Both. Kits are a great value if one fits your space; custom makes sense when you want specific dimensions, materials, or a design that matches your home.

How long does installation take?+

Most kit assemblies are done in a day. Custom builds usually run two to four days depending on size and footings.

Do I need a permit?+

In most East Valley cities, detached pergolas under a certain size don't require one, but rules vary by city and HOA. We'll tell you what applies to your address before work starts.

Will it survive monsoon season?+

That's the whole reason anchoring matters. We set posts and footings for real wind loads. An unanchored pergola in a microburst becomes a very large kite.
